| Removing Your Make Up |
| The best way I have found to remove make up is to use baby wipes that are alcohol and fragrance free. They are gentle on the skin and get make-up off pretty well.
I have use a cotton ball moistened with baby oil to take eye make-up off, but lately I've really liked using Witch Hazel for a Toner and make up removal. I believe this is a healthier option for my skin. After gently wiping face, you can wash with Yogurt or Powdered Milk using the information in Cleansing Your Face, then go to Moisturizing Your Face to finish. Sometimes I'll just use Witch Hazel and go to bed. I haven't had any break out problems and there are times I just don't have the time to wash and moisturize afterward. If you wear make up everyday, it is the healthiest for your skin to take it off every night before sleeping. I've had pimples pop up over night when neglecting to remove make up. It is much healthier for your skin to get a chance to breath, so be sure to keep cover up to a minimal! |
