  For this month, I delved into the benefits of almond oil. Again, it never ceases to amaze me how wonderful ingredients straight from nature can be! I will never buy a commercial skin care product again when such powerful skin care can be found through pure, natural ingredients. Here’s what I found:

   If you’re looking for something to get rid of dull skin, try pure almond oil. It is excellent at softening and smoothing skin, promoting a young complexion while conditioning skin. It improves complexion, so if you’re face is looking for a pick up, try massaging a little almond oil into your skin! When used regularly, it is great for anti-aging, helping to fight those wrinkles. This is really great for itchy, inflamed or irritated skin, and has been known to help with eczema. It also protects the surface of skin and helps balance its moisture.

   Almond oil is high in vitamins A and E, and also contains vitamins B6, B1 and B2. It is very high in fatty acids, giving great food to the skin! It also stimulates cell renewal. This oil is good for all skin types and is one of the least greasy oils out there. Word of caution: If you are allergic to nuts, you will probably be allergic to nut oils! Proceed with caution, if at all. Use your own discretion!
