Caring for my legs is a bigger beauty must-do for me than any other. Having toned and silky legs is something I not only enjoy, but my husband does too! Extra motivation for keeping up on them right? :
Well...most of the time. I like to try and keep my legs clear of the pricklies, but that means shaving every 2-3 days for me. If your hair grows a lot slower than mine, you are blessed!!
I find keeping up on shaving not only makes me feel more beautiful, but also more kempt. I've also notice that when I don't keep up on them, I feel like they're pale and scrawny! :p Don't underestimate the power of giving your legs attention.

So get yourself into a shaving routine and build a habit. Check out the links that I have for tips, ideas and recipes on getting your legs smooth and silky! Also, be sure to check the
Body page for great scrub and exfoliate recipes.

Here’s a quick tip to help curb the pricklies.
Moisturizing your legs daily is a stubble reducer that I’ve found to be really helpful. I’m not sure if the moisturizer softens the hair that grows back or if it actually helps to slow growth, but it does work! I find I have an extra day in between shaves, and when I do shave, the hair feels a lot finer. It’s not as thick or dark. Wahoo!
So now the question is…what to use for a moisturizer? I have a couple products that I really like. Jergen’s Natural Glow, and Dove’s Energy Glow. A complete and thorough review on these is on
this page. I alternate between the two and moisturize once a day..
Couple daily moisturizing with the three steps outlined in
Shaving Tips N’ Tools, and you’re on your way to beautiful smooth legs!
Here's a recipe for Homemade Sugar Wax. I haven't tried it yet, but I wanted to provide a link. If you try it, email me and let me know how it worked!
