| I definitely don't take care of my feet as much as I should. If you think about it, we expect our feet to perform, but how much do we do for them? I recently became more conscious of treating them sweetly. Here are some recipes to help treat your feet. |

| Use Udderly Smooth Cream for a simple moisturizer.
You can find it at Wal*Mart in the first aid aisle, where the alcohol, band-aids, hydrogen peroxide, anti-itch cream etc. It comes in a circular container with cow print. It’s supposed to be for cow’s udders, but it works great for feet! Here’s how: Make sure you’re feet are clean and spread a nice layer of this stuff on. Clean, fuzzy, comfortable cotton socks come on next. Wait for about 30 minutes to 1 ½ hours and you’ll get a nice result! Repeat once or twice a week for soft smooth feet. *This product is not as natural as I would prefer. I used this before I found out more information on the chemicals it contains. |
| Easy Foot Soaker Treatment
1 heaping tablespoon Epsom Salts. You can use regular salt if needed. 6 cups nice warm water. Place ingredients in large bowl or bucket. Grab a towel and spread it on the floor, with the bowl on top. Go sit down, read a book or watch TV for about 10-15 minutes while soaking your feet. After feet are softened, use a foot file or pumice stone to gently massage the bottoms of your feet. Focus on the areas that tend to build up with calluses like the heels and side of the big toe. Dry off with the towel. Use Udderly Smooth Cream and slip your feet into some nice fuzzy cotton socks. I love the thick anklets. They’re the type that are sold as one pair and can be crazy looking. They’re thick and comfortable though, so you can walk around the house and feel like you’re in slippers. After an hour or so your feet will be feeling luxurious! |

| Foot Milk Bath
6 cups water 2 cups milk (you can use powdered milk made up) ¼ cup sugar 1 small tbsp lotion Pour liquids into a bowl or bucket big enough to soak your feet in. Heat this mixture either in the microwave or on the stovetop. An alternative would be to heat a couple cups of water until really hot, then add to the cooler liquid. The goal is to make it nice and warm to soften the rough skin on your feet. Soak for 12-15 minutes. Take the sugar and lotion and mix well to form a paste. Scrub and massage your feet with this. Put your feet back into the bucket to rinse of the sugar. I had a towel standing by to catch any spillage. After the majority of the sugary lotion is gone, you can rinse with clean water to finish up. This is a little tricky to do, but so worth it! My feet felt very luxurious! |
