Ah yes, these troublesome areas that are rough and sometimes unsightly. I’m looking forward to finding more ways to smooth and soften this skin. Be sure to check out the Body page for scrub and exfoliate recipes that can also help soften and smooth these areas.

Honey Smoother

½ tsp. honey
½ tsp. olive or vegetable oil
1/8 tsp lemon juice

Mix together and smooth over elbows and knees. Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Finish by rinsing with warm water.
This really does work! My rough skin was really smooth.

I’ve wanted to do this a couple times a week to see if after awhile the results would get rid of the bumps for good, but…I haven’t gotten around to it yet, but hopefully soon.
